Aquatic Vegetation Control
Simply put, aquatic vegetation control is the management and control of aquatic plants in bodies of water. If left uncontrolled, excessive vegetation decreases water clarity, disrupts fish and wildlife habitats, and becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It also can increase the risk of flooding. AVC conducts aquatic vegetation control for:
• Golf course and private community waterways
• Utility and road rights-of-way
• Drainage System Networks
• Public lakes and waterways
• Stormwater treatment areas (STAs)
• Retention and detention ponds
