AVC Herbicide Applicator and Crew Supervisor

Crew Supervisors and Applicators in St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.

Outdoor working experience is a must and experience operating airboats, skiffs, and all-terrain equipment is a plus. Qualified applicants must be able to swim as site conditions include standing water along with dense vegetation, uneven and swampy terrain, and are occupied by many species of wildlife. Position responsibilities include operating transportation equipment including trucks, airboats, swamp buggies, and ATV's; supervision of a crew for the application of herbicides to control nuisance and invasive vegetation, and the mixing and applying of herbicides among other responsibilities. A Florida Department of Agriculture Pesticide license will be required for this position and must be obtained within one year of employment. Entry level starts at $13.00 per hour. A valid Florida driver's license is required.
